One of the mythical coves of Ibiza is called Benirràs and is located between Sant Miquel and Sant Joan. It is one of the few shores on the north coast of the island that offers a stunning sunset. This sandy crescent, flanked by boatyards and with some restaurants with a seafaring tradition, is a must-see enclave. Cap Bernat, a rock that emerges in the middle of the horizon, contributes to making the dusk, from here, intoxicating.
The hippy tradition establishes that on Sundays in the summer one sees off the sun with a concert of drums, which is joined by percussionists from all over the island and enjoyed by residents and tourists from all municipalities. The party is so successful that, from June to October, traffic is restricted. Therefore, the recommendation is to go by public bus. Artisans also gather in the cove, offering beads and other products that they make themselves.
