In view of the fact that our Agrotourism Can Planells forms part of the Association for Sant Joan Rural Hotel Association, we felt it would be of interest to tell you a bit about our organization so that you better understand who we are, what we stand for and the presentation of its new website www.sienteibiza.com.
Our association, which encompasses 12 rural hotels and “agroturismos” in the north of Ibiza ( authentic country houses), came into existence in the summer of 2002 with the clear intention of offering guests the genuine Ibiza experience. All replete with rustic charm, the hotels associated with this movement are: Agroturismo Can Planells, Boutique Hotel Can Pardal, Hotel Rural Cas Plà, Agroturismo Can Gall, Hotel Rural Ca Na Xica, Agroturismo Can Martí, Casa Vilda Marge, Agroturismo Sa Vinya den Palerm, Casa Naya, Agroturismo Atzaró, Agroturismo Ca n’Escandell and Hotel Rural Can Fuster.
The guiding principle behind our association is the love of our native island, combined with the desire to bring luxury, comfort and exclusivity to our guests through the living heritage of its centenarian houses. Based on these objectives, we have chosen the brand name “Siente Ibiza”, a catchphrase which embodies the essence of what Ibiza can offer when viewed through twelve experiences and the lens of its rural splendor.
In an attempt to reconcile ecology and sustainable luxury, our member hotels have worked diligently so that all of the facilities respect the environment and blend harmoniously into the landscape. One result is that there are never more than twelve rooms in any given hotel. The idea, very much in keeping with the free spirit of Ibiza, is that everyone can have a good time without disturbing others or injuring the ecosystem. That’s what “Siente Ibiza” is all about.
Our houses, “agroturismos” and rural hotels are all located in privileged settings, whether owing to their historical context or the natural beauty that surrounds them. We consistently offer full comfort without compromising our respect for nature.
So steep yourself in island tradition, try its locally produced food and drink (gastronomy). Enjoy hiking, horse-riding or water sports, and still have time for the parties, clubs and nightlife that make the summer sparkle. Our association endeavors to make the time and space for everything this Mediterranean island has to offer. With us, it’s all within reach.
