There is no such awaited night as the shortest night of the year: the Night of Sant Joan, full of magic, mystery and fun. And what better way to celebrate it in the homonymous Ibizan village of Sant Joan every June 23, adorned to celebrate the eve of its patron saint day. Its particular way of celebrating this night is with the already known bonfire and ‘correfocs’ (literally, fire-runs) but also with music and a Flower Power party, bringing back the spirit of the 70s to the village. Now summer really starts!

Wine harvest in Ibiza
The end of the summer is the time when farmers and country persons get ready for the grape harvest. One of the main attractions of Ibizan folklore is its traditional dance known as ‘ball pagès’. Every Thursday during summer you have the opportunity to delve into the Ibizan culture in the Sant Miquel town square, where you can enjoy exhibitions and performances of the traditional dances and costumes, and which is presented in several languages.
