On Thursday, 31 January, TripAdvisor handed out its well-known “2013 Travellers’ Choice Hotel Awards”. The charming farmhouse hotel, Can Planells in Sant Miquel de Balansat, Ibiza, was one of the awardees. The ceremony was held at Spain’s annual tourism event, FITUR, which is a global meeting point for tourism professionals from around the world, and the leading trade fair for receptive markets.
Tripadvisor annually publishes its Travellers’ Choice list, in which travellers and hotel guests choose their favourite hotels from around the world, according to their degree of satisfaction and overall assessment of the hotels. In the 11th edition of the awards, the Can Planells agrotourismus was recognised as one of the top 25 accommodations in the hostels and inns section. Julio Bruno, Global Vice President of TripAdvisor for Business, presented the awards.
