This was the first business in Sant Carles de Peralta, founded in 1876. In addition to being a grocery shop, it was also a bar and a tobacconist’s. Portinatx is really three beaches, or coves, grouped around a sheltering bay. The main beach is s’Arenal Gros, the smaller one is s’Arenal Petit, and the small fishermen’s port is located at the end of the road to Portinatx. The beaches are beautiful with fine sand and crystalline waters.
