Santa Agnés de Corona (Santa Inés) is a very traditional Ibicenco village, small and quiet, at the feet of a beautiful valley (Pla de Corona).
Just wonderful and especially popular during the months of January and February, when its hundreds of almond trees are in full bloom and the whole valley is covered in white.
In the village we can highlight Can Cosmi bar and restaurant, famous on the whole island for its Spanish omelettes with vegetables, Cas Sabater, where they produce hand made leather goods, the pretty “casas payesas” (traditional Ibicenco rustic farmhouses) scattered throughout the field and its church, which was built in 1812 and inside there’s a carving of the Mother of God of the Rosary, from the same time.
We could say that in Santa Inés time stands still. A place where you’ll find the most authentic and rural Ibiza.
